The top part of the pieces is hand crafted using a wire-work technique hat uses only knot ties, which drove me to embrace and assume the irregularities of the craft and the visible joints. The bottom part consists of wheel thrown terracotta pieces, and a variation can be seen in blown glass. 

In addition to exploring the combination of crafts, I also aimed to create objects that combined different visual weights: from a very solid base, to becoming  a very light airy structure, almost as if you are half left with the skeleton of an object only, yet it follows a continuous silhouette.
