For Gisela’s new flagship store in Málaga, our studio sought to reflect the brand’s innovative approach to lingerie by blending hard and soft elements in the interior design. The store pays homage to contemporary feminine intimacy, delicacy, and authenticity, combining bespoke furnishings and textural contrasts. Handmade curtains, irregular partitions, and columns create a dynamic yet intimate atmosphere.

Bespoke furniture pieces, including counters, stools, tables, and visual accessories, were crafted specifically for the space. A standout material in the design is marble from Macael, a town in southern Spain, which we used for wall finishes and clothing displays. Its scratched surface reveals the raw beauty of this “white gold,” creating a purposefully worn effect that enhances the stone’s natural properties. The hanging systems, made from lacquered and copper metals, add a sleek, modern touch to the space.

In the fitting rooms, we introduced layered makeup-colored tulle curtains that overlap to generate an optical play of transparency, offering a subtle sense of privacy. The vermiculite columns, treated with plaster, bring an unexpected tactile quality, embodying natural sensuality and beauty in their random, organic forms. The result is a space that merges handcrafted details with a refined material palette, creating a unique retail experience that resonates with Gisela’s brand ethos.
