For the Cosentino City Centre Stockholm, our concept was deeply inspired by Cosentino’s impressive sustainability initiatives. As a global manufacturer of innovative surfaces, their commitment to reusing leftover minerals from the production of composite stone slabs into what they call synthetic soil—a mineral-rich, naturally derived growing medium—became a central theme in our design approach.
We translated this sustainable practice into a striking feature within the entrance hall by integrating large planters directly into the Dekton stone floor. These floor planters create the visual effect of plants emerging naturally from the stone, a compelling representation of Cosentino’s journey from raw materials to finished surfaces. This seamless connection between nature and innovation allowed us to effectively tell the story of the company’s sustainability efforts, from raw cut stone to finished kitchen countertops.
In addition to the showroom concept, we also worked on the interior, carefully selecting all the furniture and loose objects to complement the space. We also designed custom pieces tailored specifically for the showroom.
